Certification Terns

The following terms apply to all certification applications and certified businesses:

Application — Submitting an application does not guarantee certification. All applications are assessed against Tiller's published criteria by our independent audit team.

Accuracy — All information provided in your application must be accurate and complete. Submitting false or misleading information will result in immediate disqualification and may affect future applications.

Audit process — Certified businesses agree to participate in on-site audit visits and provide access to purchasing records and supplier documentation when requested by the Tiller team.

Certification period — Certification is valid for 12 months from the date of award. Renewal requires a reassessment against current criteria.

Revocation — Tiller reserves the right to revoke certification at any time if a business no longer meets the required standards, provides false information, or brings the Tiller programme into disrepute.

‍

Certification decisions are made at Tiller's sole discretion. We do not enter into correspondence about individual decisions beyond the feedback provided to applicants.

‍

Restaurant Listings

Certified businesses are listed on the Tiller website subject to the following terms:

  • Listings are provided as a benefit of certification and are removed upon expiry or revocation of certification
  • Businesses are responsible for notifying Tiller of any changes to their contact details, address, or business information
  • Tiller reserves the right to edit listing content for accuracy and consistency with our editorial standards
  • Certified businesses may use the Tiller certification badge in their own marketing, subject to our brand guidelines
  • The Tiller certification badge may not be used by businesses whose certification has expired or been revoked
